In addition to our previously announced Transpacific changes, we would like to announce the following adjustments to our TP2 and TP8 Services, along with a slight change to the TP5 Service.

TP2 Changes

TP2 Eastbound Changes

We are pleased to announce that we have added direct calls in Ningbo and Oakland to the TP2 Eastbound Service rotation, effective with Northern Jubilee departure voyage 120A, departing Kaohsiung on May 17, 2011.

In addition, there will no longer be Shanghai and Qingdao, China calls on the TP2 Eastbound rotation. Please utilize the TP8 Service instead.

New eastbound rotation will be:

Kaohsiung – Hong Kong – Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo – Long Beach – Oakland

TP2 Westbound Changes

We have added direct calls to Oakland and Ningbo to the TP2 Westbound rotation effective with the Northern Jubille departure voyage 123R, departing Long Beach on June 7th.

In addition, we will no longer have direct calls at Shanghai and Qingdao, China on the Transpacific 2 (TP2) Westbound Service. Please utilize the TP8 Service for exports to Qingdao and either TP6 or TP8 services for exports to Shanghai.

New westbound rotation will be:

Long Beach – Oakland – Kaohsiung – Hong Kong – Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo

TP8 Changes

TP8 Eastbound Changes

We are pleased to announce that we have added a direct call in Qingdao to the TP8 Eastbound Service rotation, effective with MSC Silvana departure voyage 119A, departing Xingang on May 9, 2011.

The new TP8 eastbound rotation will begin calling Long Beach instead of Los Angeles (Pier 400) during June once the TP1 phases in.  Until then, the TP8 Service will continue to call Los Angeles.

New eastbound rotation will be:

Dalian – Xingang – Qingdao – Shanghai – Long Beach – Oakland

TP8 Westbound Changes

We have added a direct call in Qingdao to the TP8 Westbound rotation effective with the MSC Silvana departure voyage 122R, departing Los Angeles on May 30, 2011.

In addition, there will no longer be a Ningbo, China call on the TP8 Westbound rotation. Please utilize the TP6 service instead.

The new TP8 westbound rotation will begin calling Long Beach instead of Los Angeles (Pier 400) during June once the TP1 phases in.  Until then, the TP8 Service will continue to call Los Angeles.

New westbound rotation will be:

Long Beach – Oakland – Dalian – Xingang – Qingdao – Shanghai

TP5 Changes

TP5 Eastbound Changes

As previously announced, we have added direct calls in Kobe and Hakata Japan to the TP5 Eastbound Service rotation, effective with SL Lightning voyage 1108, departing Kobe on May 13, 2011.

The new TP5 will begin calling Los Angeles (Pier 400) instead of Long Beach during June once the TP1 phases in.  Until then, the TP5 Service will continue to call Long Beach.

New eastbound rotation will be:

Kobe – Kwangyang – Busan – Hakata – Nagoya – Yokohama – Los Angeles – Oakland – Dutch Harbor

TP5 Westbound Changes

As previously announced, we have added direct calls to Kobe, Hakata and Nagoya Japan to the TP5 Westbound rotation effective with SL Lightning voyage 1107 calling Long Beach on April 27, 2011.

The TP5 will continue to call Long Beach until the new TP1 rotation begins in June. After the TP1 begins it’s new rotation, TP5 will start calling Los Angeles.

New westbound rotation will be:

Los Angeles – Oakland – Dutch Harbor – Yokohama – Kobe – Kwangyang – Busan – Hakata – Nagoya
