Due to continued delays at the Port of Matadi, Dem. Republic of Congo, Maersk Line will increase the Congestion Surcharge (CON) for both dry and reefer shipments into the port, effective September 7, 2011.
Increases are as follow for all dry and reefer shipments:
Old Rates – USD 665/1330 per 20′/40′ container
New Rates – USD 1765/2430 per 20′/40′ container
