Dear Valued Customer,
Maersk Line has decided to terminate our vessel sharing agreement (VSA) with CMA CGM on our NCX service operating between Brazil and Panama, Colombia, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago. We have notified CMA CGM of our decision and provided them with the 6-month’s notice required for this change.
Maersk Line recognizes the need to seek alternatives for the NCX scope that provide coverage to serve East Coast South America and Intra America cargo requirements. While we are currently exploring our options, we would like to reiterate that we do not intend to exit these trades. We are committed to providing as much notice as possible to our impacted customers and will communicate definitive service changes in a timely manner.
