Dear Valued Customer,
Effective August 15, 2012 there will be changes to Free Time, Export and Import Detention tariff for shipments from the United States and Canada to/from Australia. For shipments to/from Australia (excluding United States and Canada), these changes will become effective August 1, 2012. Please see below for details.
Free Time tariff:
Maersk Line will decrease free time from the current 10 days to 7 days on all export and import containers.
Export and Import Detention tariff:
For any containers returned after 7 days, export and import detention charges will apply as follows:
- 20′ DRY – AUD 75 per day
- 40′ DRY – AUD 125 per day
- 20′ Reef – AUD 95 per day
- 40′ Reef – AUD 165 per day
