A deal was struck between the OCU and HEA last night, ending the strike at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. All terminals in Los Angeles and Long Beach are open as of this morning.

We will continue to provide you with updates to our operations until the end of the recovery process. Please see the following update from our Business Continuity Team:

Terminals:

All terminals in Los Angeles and Long Beach are open. Appointments are required for truckers to pick up cargo. Gate hours resume to normal.

Saturday gates have been confirmed for TTI, TraPac, YTI, and Seaside. We have not confirmed if Saturday gate will, or will not, be available at Pier 400 and Pier A. We will update you when we know more.

For cargo going to LA/LB, BNSF is working to clear trains that have been idle in the network. The first Westbound train from Houston will depart this Friday. We will provide visibility to the remaining schedule once it is finalized.

Demurrage/Detention/Per Diem:

Demurrage is not being charged starting Tuesday November 27th through Tuesday December 4th for Maersk Line cargo at Pier 400 Los Angeles. 

Demurrage is not being chanrged For all other terminals (with the exception of TraPac, SSA Pier C, SSA Pier A, PCT Pier J and Seaside) starting Wednesday November 28th trhough Tuesday December 4th for Maersk Line cargo.  

Demurrage will apply as normal as of December 5th.  

We will not be charging Detention/Per Diem through the 7th of December for all terminals.

We will continue to provide daily updates or as we receive new/changed information.
